Wednesday January 9: Nice, cool weather presented itself for today’s Men’s Blue Tee Stableford competition. 103 golfers hit the course causing a three grade competition. In A Grade, Richard Hammett (6) finished his round on 39 points, which was enough to beat runner up Geoff Caddy (10) on 37 points. B Grade saw the highest score of the day thanks to Darrell Nash (14), whose 42 points just overcame Rowan Currie (13) on 41 points. In C Grade we had Bill Fawkes (21) close out his round on 38 points from Daryl Bayard (28) on 36 points. The ball pool ran down the line to 35 points with nearest the pins going to Denis Moore (5th hole, 0.59m) and B Grade runner up Rowan Currie (13th hole, 1.54m).

Thursday January 10: Stableford Medley today, with the Men playing off the Blue Tees and Ladies off the Red Tees. Another cool day, with slight winds increasing throughout the day. It was Diane Cox (31) finishing on an enormous score of 43 points to take out the competition! Jane Brydon (36) was next best, closing out her round on 40 points. The ball pool ran down the line to 35 points. Saturday January 12: Blue Tee Stroke for the Men today. Monthly Medal day, and with that
extra bit of motivation, some excellent scores were produced. 122 Men competed causing a three grade competition. In A Grade, Shane McGrath (8) clearly finished on the best score of the day, Nett 67, making him the Medal winner for the month of January. Congratulations Shaggy! Michael Yates (4) was the runner up, closing out his round on Nett 70. In B Grade, Brendan Bourke (12) continued his consistent run of golf, ending his round on Nett 70 from Paul Beighton (15) on Nett 72. C Grade saw Ray Chappell’s (26) Nett 73 as the winning score over runner up Paul Ludowyk (22) on Nett 76. The ball pool ran down the line to Nett 76, with Luke Vassallo (5th hole, 2.35m), new member David Mikelsons (7th hole, 6.00m), Peter Brooks (13th hole, 3.10m) and Rod Brooker (17th hole, 7.67m) taking out the nearest to pins. Red Tee Stroke for the Ladies for the Monthly Medal. Congratulations to Linda Turner (18) who took home the Monthly Medal after finishing her round on Nett 74! Judy Hodgkins (37) was the runner up on Nett 78. The ball pool ran down the line to

Sunday January 13: Great conditions for golf with a field of 53 for the medley competition, blue and red tees. Gavan Macrae (18) was the winner today with 36 points on a countback.
