Unique Laser Geelong gets a makeover

SILK Laser Australia will rebrand Unique Laser Clinics as part of its acquisition strategy with Unique’s Geelong and Waurn Ponds clinics to become Australian Skin Clinics this weekend.

Providing a greater foothold in regional Victoria for Australian Skin Clinics, the rebranded clinics will continue to provide laser hair removal, skin treatments, cosmetic injectables and body sculpting.

With a focus on results-driven treatments in a clinical environment, the clinics will be supported by Adelaide-based parent company SILK Laser Australia.

Torquay local Sarah Oram started Unique Laser Hair Removal & Skin Clinics in Geelong in 2014, growing the business to five clinics in total. The local flavour will not be lost with staff retained and Ms Oram remaining in the business as the franchise partner of the Geelong clinic.

“After nearly nine years of owning the Unique Laser franchise, I have decided that the time is right to sell the business to parent company SILK Laser Australia,” Ms Oram said.

“I’m proud to continue the great service! The Geelong team has worked incredibly hard to build our reputation and as Australian Skin Clinics I know we will be able to continue to grow and offer the best technologies to our clients.”

SILK Laser Australia now boasts 130 clinics across Australia and New Zealand.

“The Unique brand has built a solid reputation in Victoria, their staff and clients will benefit from our strong network of support and buying power; the savings from which will be passed onto clients in the community.”
