February 5, 2016 BY

WIDE-eyed children got their giant lollypops and Oompa-Loompas at Warralilly’s Willy Wonka event recently.

The community welcomed a whopping crowd of 2,500 from around the region to the biggest event of the summer spectacular season.

“Residents and visitors tasted the sweet delights of the Wonka Candy Kitchen and there were plenty of crazy snaps taken in the Wonka vision tent and photo booth.

“The cup and saucer ride was a real hit as was Pollock said.

Children eagerly awaited the draw of the famous golden ticket competition and enjoyed face painting.

The Oompa-Loompas danced up a frenzy. The maker of music and dreamer of dreams, Willy Wonka, greeted children and handed out snozberries galore.

While it was heaven for the sweet tooths, there were plenty of savoury food options with vendors and coffee vans. Tribute show performed all the hits live on stage.

“After all the dancing the crowd enjoyed kicking back with some popcorn and watching the Willy Pollock said.
