Yoga, pilates and osteopathy in one

Sequence Osteopathy

Sequence Osteopathy is a multi-disciplinary clinic located within Yoke Yoga and founded by Dr Rebecca Burns.

Having previously owned a clinic in Launceston, Rebecca now offers a unique service alongside a team of three other talented osteopaths and a Chinese medical practitioner.

Combining a passion for osteopathy with pilates and yoga, Rebecca has undertaken a diploma in yoga therapy and jumped at the opportunity from Chris Wilson to set up within his studio.

With more than 10 years’ clinical experience, Rebecca is known for her strong hands and excellent problem-solving skills for complex and chronic conditions.

“Most of my patients have seen numerous practitioners and been described loads of exercises, which they rarely do.

“My aim is to create personalised programs for people using a combination of yoga and traditional stretch and strength training,” she said.

“I love collaborating with other health practitioners including Chinese medicine, naturopaths, podiatrists, GPs, physios, chiros and myotherapists to get long lasting results.”

After five years at Victoria University Rebecca completed courses in remedial massage therapy, clinical pilates, yoga therapy and most recently birth attendant/doula training.

After opening their doors in 2016, Sequence Osteopathy has seen fantastic success with clients falling in love with the calming space and services provided.

As Rebecca embraces the challenge of finding the balance between running her own business and being a mother to her son Lenny, the team looks forward to welcoming more skilled osteopaths on board in 2018 to allow longer operating hours and appointments for clients.
