Yoga teacher training is back on the Surf Coast

February 10, 2022 BY

Stacey Ryan and Izumi van Burkel have expanded and deepened their practice through Sally Louise Yoga's Teacher Training course.

YOGA enthusiasts are invited to deepen their own practice or take the first steps to becoming a professional yoga teacher through Sally Louise Yoga’s Teacher Training course.

After two years of being sidelined due to the pandemic, Sally will be accepting an intake for the specialised course this month, which includes both face-to-face and online tutorial components, complimentary access to online yoga classes and ongoing support throughout the duration of the course.

“By combining face-to-face and online learning we strike the balance between people feeling and staying safe while also receiving the benefits of learning adjustment techniques and practical components that require in person attendance,” Sally said.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be fully qualified and able to be insured to instruct Hatha yoga.

Sally said the course provides a pathway to a career in yoga for some, and a personal immersive experience for others.

“Some people want to become teachers and others simply want to expand and deepen their practice, so their level of experience doesn’t really matter, as long as there is a passion to learn more about yoga.

“Ultimately the course provides students with a thorough education for a safe and most effective yoga practice.

“A lot of people practice yoga, but very few truly understand what each posture is about.

“Our students graduate with the life-long tools to help create good health through yoga.”
