HIGH-ENERGY shenanigans, glitz and glamour will explode onto stages across the country when cabaret star Hans heads off on tour.

The Berlin-born talent’s Hans: Young Fun and 21 tour opens the curtains to the personal life of Hans – the alter ego of Matt Gilbertson – with a coming-of-age cabaret show.

The cabaret performer has kept much of his personal life to himself, until now when he opens up to audiences across the country.

“I’ve been subjected to much rumour and innuendo for much of my life, so as I turn 21, I’ve decided it’s time to set the record straight,” he said.

“This is going to be more than a show, it’s going to be a party so don’t miss it – there might even be fairy bread.”

Hans first landed on the stage in 2018 with his cheeky and electrifying song and dance routines on America’s Got Talent, winning the hearts of 16 million people.

His original production of Hans: Like a German was debuted in 2019 to a sell-out crowds and followed by a nationwide tour.

Since then, he has gone on to win Pick of the Fringe at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe Festival and made his opera debut in Candide with State Opera South Australia.

Hans will be joined on stage by his live band, The Ungrateful B*stards, and dancers, the Lucky B*tches.

Hans: Young, Fun and 21 will take to the stage at the Geelong Arts Centre on June 28.
