A journey by water you won’t forget
ENJOY the remaining weeks of summer on the water with Searoad Ferries as it set sails for two Rock the Boat events.
Sailing a bespoke route along the coast from Queenscliff this Saturday (February 15), and Sorrento on February 22, there will be a gin pop-up bar, roaming canapes, photobooths and an on-trend rooftop bar for guests to relish in.
The three-hour sail around the bay features live music, a DJ and a welcome drink on arrival. But the main event and band will kick off in the Searoad Ferries lounge where there’ll be plenty of seating and room to dance, with canapes passed around to peckish patrons throughout the night.
Fresh oysters, cured salmon and mini sliders are set to be the order of the day, event organisers said.
Local band Plan B will keep the tunes pumping all evening long while guests sail Port Phillip Bay and watch the sun sink over the horizon.
The best spot to do this is while sipping on a cocktail at the rooftop bar The Yardarm. Queenscliff Distillery Gin will be poured at the gin pop-up bar, but don’t fret if gin isn’t your style as a selection of local wines and ales will also be on offer.
Get your dancing shoes on and climb aboard for a day you won’t forget. Tickets are $129 per person. Bookings of six people or more are $99 per person.
Each event will run from 8-11pm. For more information, head to searoad.com.au.
