A McOpening at Warralily

December 13, 2017 BY

THE doors to McDonald’s next to The Village Warralily are now open, with 100 new local employees.

Of the team, 90 per cent are from the new Armstrong Creek estate, demonstrating the exciting expansion of the region and its growing economy.

In celebration of the new McDonald’s opening, the store will be hosting a Family Fun Day on December 9.

Customers will be able to enjoy colouring in, balloons and giveaways for the kids throughout the day.

The Warralily McDonald’s has been constructed with the latest designs for the play land and party rooms; there is also a dual-lane drive through, with a separate lane and window for McCafe customers, the first of its kind build in Australia.

Stuart Coomes is the licensee of the new store.

He has 33 years’ experience at McDonald’s and is looking forward to the future of the new location.

“We employ over 500 people across the region at Waurn Ponds, Torquay, West Geelong and now Warralily,” Stuart said.

“We’re always looking for new crew to join any one of the four locations and I encourage everyone to come down to the new store and check out the new layout and design.”

The Warralily store will be open 24/7, and is located on Barwon Heads Road next to The Village Warralily shopping centre.
