AIDA invites candidates to share their views on Great Ocean Road

April 24, 2019 BY

THE Aireys Inlet and District Association (AIDA) has invited all candidates in the Corangamite electorate to share their views on the Great Ocean Road and the Aireys Inlet area this weekend.

AIDA will hold its annual general meeting at the Aireys Inlet Community Hall on Saturday, April 27 at 3pm, and will open the floor to the candidates to speak about their interests and attitudes once the AGM is complete, at about 4pm.

“We have had acceptances from the Liberal, Labor, Greens and United Australia Party candidates as well as independent Damien Cole,” AIDA president Charlotte Allen said.

“If there are any further nominations to the Australian Electoral Commission, we will also invite them to come.

“Each candidate will be given about five minutes to talk, and then we will take questions from the floor.

“Everyone in the community is welcome to hear the candidates. We expect it will be an interesting session and it could be one of the few opportunities for people to hear all candidates at the same time.”

AIDA members will be able to pay their subscriptions on the day and new members will be able to join up.
