AUSTRALIA’S largest airshow and aerospace and defence exposition will be taking to the skies from March 28 to March 30.

Avalon Australian International Airshow returns with a bang, fuelling the passion of aviators, hobbyists, and entertainment lovers from across the globe. Get ready for an unforgettable airshow with new and exciting experiences alongside the event attendees know and love. This spectacular event is a must-attend for aviation enthusiasts, offering a diverse mix of thrilling activities and incredible performances that will leave crowds awestruck.

The biennial event was sold out in 2023, making it the biggest yet. Avalon 2025 is set to be even more popular, so don’t miss out on tickets. Join in the three days of breathtaking flying displays featuring both military and civil aircraft, then get up close and personal with the aircraft on the ground and meet the teams that fly them.

The 2025 event features a mix of activities and performances with aircraft on the ground and in the sky.

With aircraft from the Royal Australian Air Force such as the F-35 and F-18, the F-22 from the United States Air Force, the F-16 from the Pacific Air Force, as well as Matt Hall Racing and Paul Bennet Airshows, there truly is something for everyone. The airshow will also feature exciting new aircraft and state-of-the-art technology, showcasing the future of aviation.

The entire family will enjoy a weekend packed with family-friendly activities, including free carnival rides, roaming live entertainment, Kids Zone, food trucks galore, and of course, the cutest attraction – the military working dogs.

Whether taking the family for a day out or treating yourself to seeing the show from the flight line, there’s a ticket option for everyone. Avalon 2025 has family passes, general admission tickets, Gold Pass tickets, and the Jack Rabbit Sky Lounge.

The Gold Pass ticket secures the best seats in the house, with reserved seats in the grandstand, access to an alfresco dining area, exclusive food and bar outlets as well as a copy of the souvenir program and an event cap.

The airshow will showcase the future of aviation with exciting new aircraft and state-of-the-art technology.

Want an even more luxurious experience? Check out the Jack Rabbit Sky Lounge, which includes access to a private and spacious pavilion with views of the flight line, a fenced courtyard, gourmet menu with plenty of food, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, VIP onsite parking, and collector’s items. But, get in quick – this is already sold out for Friday and Saturday, so don’t miss out on the Sunday experience.

Recognising the challenges faced in 2023 by attendees, Avalon 2025 has overhauled its transport and parking systems. The newly introduced park and ride option will allow visitors to park at designated areas and take shuttle buses to the event site, aiming to reduce congestion within the onsite car park and nearby roads. To make the most of the airshow experience, planning ahead is essential.

Secure park and ride or onsite parking tickets in advance or map out public transport journeys for a smooth arrival. Planning ahead will ensure attendees have more time to take in the incredible aerial displays, ground displays, and family-friendly attractions.
