All areas of Torquay Hotel open

The Torquay Hotel is firing on all cylinders once again.

IN fantastic news for Surf Coast residents, the Torquay Hotel has announced all areas of the venue are now open just in time for those hot summer days.

It is another huge step forward as the state of Victoria continues to stay on top of COVID.

Making a booking for a drink is no longer required, there are no time limits for guests in bar areas and DJs are back every Saturday night.

The beer garden at the venue is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and drinks and can now have up to 445 guests.

The restaurant can be booked at usual sitting times, however it is important to note that a two-hour time limit still applies to these guests.

Up to 208 people can be in this area at any one time, with eight people permitted on the terrace.

Weather permitting, dining on the Bell Street footpath will be available next week.

The public bar is open for walk-up drinks and meals seven days a week and is capped at 135 people. Finally, the gaming room is open seven days a week and is capped at 33 people.

It is news that is sure to excite residents and visitors alike who can now cool down on a warm summer day without worrying about as many COVID-safe practices.
