THE APCO Foundation Giving Day is back in 2024, with its second edition to be held on Tuesday next week.

This year, all donations will be matched, doubling the impact and doubling kindness, thanks to matching partners and APCO service stations.

On Giving Day – Tuesday, July 30 – every APCO service station will be buzzing. For every litre of fuel purchased, 2 cents will be contributed to the foundation.

Additionally, each purchase of APCO Foundation Lollies, APCO Chill Water, and APCO Oil will include a donation.

Coffee enthusiasts can contribute too, with 44 cents from each coffee sold helping the foundation’s initiatives.

You can also show their support by buying a Kindness Donation Heart for $2, $5, or $10, or donate directly at apcofoundation.com.au

APCO Foundation chair Sharon Gleeson is excited about the potential for the second Giving Day following the success of the inaugural event in 2023.

“Every small donation adds up, especially when it’s doubled,” she said.

“This year, with the amazing support of the APCO service stations and our partners, we’re set to make an even bigger impact than
ever before.

“This Giving Day, your support can help spread more kindness throughout our communities.

“Together, we have the power to double the impact and provide support and hope to those in crisis.”

Founded in 2013 by Sharon Gleeson, Mary Anne Carew, Christine Healy and Jennifer Brennan, the APCO Foundation has contributed nearly $2 million to local communities over the past 11 years.

The APCO Foundation supports those in crisis across APCO communities.

It aims to provide immediate support in times of crisis and spreading kindness where it is needed most.

Every bit of money donated to the APCO Foundation helps someone who is having the worst day of their life feel a bit better, knowing that there are people out there who care.
