Police are urging Wallington residents to review their home security footage after a series of late-night break-in attempts across the suburb over the weekend.

Reports indicate multiple properties around Rhinds Road, Dawn Place, Malpas Drive and Arrigo Drive were targeted between 11.30pm on Saturday, November 15 and Sunday, November 16.

Those responsible are believed to have been on foot as they rummaged through unlocked vehicles and attempted to gain entry to garages, sheds and homes.

Police are appealing for residents in the area to check any available CCTV, doorbell cameras or dam-cam footage within the time frame.

Investigators say even small amounts of footage could be of assistance.

Anyone with information or relevant footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1300 333 000 or visit crimestoppersvic.gov.au, quoting reference WGLDRU-BERRY-2025.

Police have also reminded homeowners to lock their vehicles and houses, secure garages and sheds, remove valuables from cars and report suspicious behaviour immediately.
