TORQUAY Community Enterprise (TCE) is opening applications today (Friday, March 1) for its 2024 Grants Program.

The enterprise gets its funding from the local community, and returns it to worthy causes that are helping to improve the quality of life of thousands of local residents.

The money stays in the area and contributes to local economic development.

In other TCE news, Rose Hodge recently finished 10 years service with the TCE, and the board is now seeking applications to fill board roles.

Board Chair Andrew Crowley said TCE already had a great board but it was timely to recruit.

“It is so important boards are representative of the community so we are very interested in having new members that provide diversity of backgrounds

and skills.

“Torquay is growing and we need to have a board that representative of our community.”
