Bellarine Cup on track for its third year of racing fun

THE Batman Management Group Bellarine Cup is set to be a fun day of racing and frivolity, plus there will be lots for children to do too.

In its third year, guests will dress to impress and enjoy the Bellarine’s world-class food and wine during a three-course meal served in the Silks Room at Geelong Racecourse on January 4.

Bay FM’s Roxie Bennett will host the luncheon and entertainment will be provided by Matthew Charles and KK, with money raised going to the Kids Plus Foundation.

The Bellarine Cup also promises to be one of the biggest family-orientated race days held at the racetrack.

There will free backpacks full of goodies, the team from Kelly Sports will teach children some skills and zoologist Chris Humfrey will educate about Australia’s biodiversity with his Wild Action Zoo.

General admission is $10 for adults, concession is $5 at the gate, and children 17 years and under are free.

Also on the Geelong Racing Club calendar for is a free Summer Holiday Race Day on January 11, and Pink Angels Race Day on January 28.

The Pink Angels Race Day supports Geelong’s Breast Care Nurses and the McGrath Foundation, so get behind a great cause and come and enjoy the races – racecourse entry is free if you wear a touch of pink.

General admission is $15 pre-purchased online or at the gate, concession is $10 at the gate, and children 17 years and under are free with an accompanying adult.
