BELLS Beach Brewing is coaxing locals and getting them on the dancefloor this winter through a series of monthly live music and band evenings.

In partnership with local musician and series co-organiser Mitch Knapton from Boss Brothers Entertainment, the venue is hosting ‘Surf Coast Sundowner Sessions’ on the last Saturday of each month throughout the winter period.

Tomorrow evening’s entertainment includes Persecution Blues, Future Tongues, The Quick Sixes, Axis Mundi and Yo-Yo Hobo DJ.

The initiative, which kicked off at the start of the year, has seen Bells Brewing full to the brim, a feat that Bells Beach Brewing owner Adam Smith said becomes increasingly harder in the thick of winter.

“It absolutely goes off, people love it!

Persecution Blues will be headlining the event.

“This will be our sixth one and we expect to have over 100 people there.

“The music and vibes are fantastic and it’s starting to get a really fantastic reputation within the local community.

“We love supporting the local music scene and thank Mitch for helping us with this great collaboration.”

Event co-organiser Mitch Knapton said the event series had blown his expectations firmly out of the park since kicking off earlier this year.

“We’ve been so blessed. The community was ready for more live music; this event series has been great proof of that.

“It’s just been going from strength to strength.

“It’s once again an unbelievable lineup this weekend, so get on down to have a boogie!”

Tickets to the event are $10 upon entry.
