Bomboras lights up with punters and race lovers alike

PUNTERS and race lovers dressed to impress during Melbourne Cup celebrations at Bomboras on Tuesday.

After last year’s popular event, the day returned with an even larger crowd to enjoy the festivities, which included fashion on the fields.

First prize for fashions on the field this year was tickets to A Day on the Green with Florence and the Machine, kindly donated by Mt Duneed Estate.

There was a lot of interest in the event because people loved having an official celebration for the cup on the coast.
