TIMBER is a material like no other whose warmth creates a sense of luxury, comfort and home.

There are several reasons why these clients have gone down this path.

Firstly, on an aesthetic level, timber brings warmth to a space and is a simple way to create a sense of flow throughout the interior of home, it adds beauty to a room like no other material and simply cannot
be faked.

Another reason is for longevity: laminate, veneer and melamine most commonly used to create cabinetry in today’s homes become damaged over time causing the appearance to diminish with the only course of action being to replace the item.

Timber on the other hand is a fixable product whose appearance gets better over time, if damage occurs it is repairable by either a reapplication of oil for a minor scratch or a sand back renovation for more serious injury.

This ensures that what may be a higher investment initially becomes a very thrifty choice in the long run; the final common thread is to reduce environmental impact.

Milling wood or recycled material into usable sticks of timber requires very little resources such as electricity and water.

With a solid timber piece of furniture or cabinetry, the timelessness of style, quality of materials and care taken to customise the design ensures that the piece can be enjoyed indefinitely and even become that treasured heirloom piece.
