Brooksy’s Comedy Carnival in Anglesea postponed

DUE to unforeseen circumstances, tomorrow evening’s (January 7) Brooksy’s Comedy Carnival at Anglesea Football Netball Club (AFNC) has been postponed.

Last Sunday, AFNC announced that host David ‘Brooksy’ Brooks was ill and would not be able to host the comedy gala alongside the hilarious Dave O’Neill, Des Dowling and Steve Callanan, one of Australia’s most iconic Barnsey tribute show artists.

The event was set to bring comedy back to the AFNC for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic, providing a major boost for both the club and the extended community.

The Anglesea Football Netball Club wishes Brooksy a speedy recovery and hopes the show will take place in the not-so-distant future.

Tickets will be held for the new date which is yet to be determined.
