Buccaneers and GForce become teammates

August 29, 2019 BY

A Geelong gridiron team has partnered with a nearby employment company at the beginning of the new season.
The Geelong Buccaneers American Football Club recently announced a partnership with GForce Employment Solutions.
GForce CEO Rob Birch said it was an ideal pairing.
“We are proud to partner with the Geelong Buccaneers in this growing sport. Encouraging a healthy lifestyle and being part of the community are core values of the GForce organisation,” said Mr Birch.
“We are pleased to be able to support the club and look forward to assisting members of the Buccaneers in training, apprenticeships or employment services.”
Geelong Buccaneers president Melissa O’Toole supported this sentiment, saying she felt GForce’s values aligned well with the club’s,
“We are a very family oriented club – our culture is based around the values of community, diversity, encouragement and success. Being able to provide employment services and information on career pathways through GForce encompasses all of those values.”
The Buccaneers has grown steadily since it was founded in 2003. It now has senior men’s and women’s sides, as well as an under 15 side competing in the Gridiron Victoria league.
The Geelong Buccaneers are based at 93 Hendy Street, Corio.
