Calendar winners celebrated in outdoor photo exhibition

THE winners of the One Agency Surf Coast calendar competition are on display.

The competition received a huge amount of interested as local artists submitted entries depicting what they loved about Torquay, Jan Juc, Bellbrae and Bells Beach. To celebrate, a temporary outdoor photo exhibition has been set-up along a section of Torquay’s Elephant Walk.

One Agency Surf was rapt to be able show-off the winners’ work along one of Torquay’s most popular walking trails.

“We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s winning calendar photos will be on temporary display along a section of Torquay’s Elephant Walk for all to admire and enjoy,” One Agency Surf Coast said in a Facebook post.

One Agency Surf Coast added that something like this held even more weight given the difficult year most of us have had. The outdoor photo exhibition is all about celebrating the local artists and the brilliant scenery along the coast.

“After the challenging and isolating year it has been for most, this event is designed to promote positivity and to celebrate our unique and beautiful postcode, not to mention shine a light on some of the amazing local and unsung artists that we have living right here in our backyard.”

Thousands of calendars will be made available free to local homes and businesses.
