Calendar winners unveiled

THE results are in for the 2021 One Agency calendar competition.

The brief was simple: show One Agency what you love about Torquay, Jan Juc, Bellbrae and Bells Beach and the community responded enthusiastically with a whopping 300 photo entries.

It is a huge coup for those selected with thousands of calendars distributed to homes and businesses throughout the region. The photos come with a stamp of approval from world renowned surf photographer Ed Sloane, who selected the winners.

To celebrate, the agency is launching a free outdoor photo exhibition to celebrate and showcase the winning entries of their 2021 calendar competition.

One Agency director, Shaun O’Callaghan was hopeful the outdoor exhibition may offer the community respite from what has been a difficult year.

“We’re excited to be giving the community a reason to gather outdoors again and celebrate what makes the Surf Coast such a unique and wonderful place to live,” Mr O’Callaghan said.

“The exhibition is a ‘come one, come all’ affair showing off the maybe otherwise undiscovered talent that we have in our backyard.”

A Facebook live event will coincide with the opening night of the exhibition, with the official unveiling of the winners.

The event will take place along the Esplanade between Beach and Cowrie roads from November 8 until November 22.
