California bound for Circus
CARLY Post, owner and PR director of Circus Media, will head off to California next March to not only mingle with the world’s best social media influencers and entrepreneurs, but present to them.
Ms Post has been chosen from a pool of 1000 other influential businesswomen to speak at The Alt Summit, a premier conference for female entrepreneurs in creative fields and the people who want to connect with them.
The event, in its 10th year, will run from March 24-29 in Palm Springs and will deliver six days of content, to a 2000-strong crowd over four locations.
The conference has proven to be inspiring and effective, with big names such as Alison Faulkner from the Alison Show and Ben Silbermann, the founder and CEO of Pinterest, attending conferences to broaden their knowledge and launch their ideas.
Ms Post said the news comes off the back of another successful year for Circus Media.
“Aside from Project Empire really kicking off and launching The Digital Athlete (currently working with Australian pro-golfer Jack Wilson, Australian basketball legend Chris Anstey and about to work with three Geelong Falcons boys who have been earmarked for drafting into the AFL), I’ve also been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Geelong Community Foundation,” she said.
“I presented to the Committee for Geelong Activate Leadership Program on social media and advocacy, and I’ve also sat on various Deakin University alumni and career panels, as well as featuring in two of their promotional videos.”
Ms Post’s presentation ‘PR: The Game Has Changed’ will discuss how the rise of social and other new media has created new and exciting opportunities to tell a brand’s story.
