Car drives off cliff in Lorne

A WOMAN has died after her car drove off the Great Ocean Road near the bridge at Reedy Creek in Lorne and went into the ocean at about 1.20pm today (Wednesday, June 3).

Emergency service workers, including members of the Lorne State Emergency Services (SES) responded to the incident.

Victoria Police have confirmed there were no other people in the car.

The road will remain open, although significant delays are expected.
