It is a unique opportunity to learn from industry specialists and build professional networks at a critical time for local businesses.

THE 2023 Geelong Small Business Festival is being delivered through a partnership between the City of Greater Geelong and the Geelong Chamber of Commerce.

Throughout August the festival provides the business community with an engaging program of business events, workshops and learning opportunities.

The month-long festival aims to connect, inspire and grow the local business community.

Now in its 13th year, the Geelong Chamber of Commerce says it is excited to partner with the City of Greater Geelong to host the festival, which has helped connect, support and upskill hundreds of local businesses.

“Geelong Chamber is thrilled to collaborate with the City of Greater Geelong to ensure the Geelong Small Business Festival remains a key annual festival,” Geelong Chamber of Commerce chief executive officer Jeremy Crawford said.

“Hundreds of businesses and thousands of individuals have benefitted from the festival and we are excited to play a role in a new look festival with an expanded program of events.”

This year’s event has attracted a surge in interest, with the 2022 program hosting more than 50 events and the 2023 festival already expanded to almost 80 events.

The festival brings together some of our region’s best business experts, small business owners and managers, and leading industry organisations to share their knowledge and experiences.

The festival provides free and low-cost events to upskill prospective and current business owners, while creating networking opportunities to support our local business community.

It is a unique opportunity to learn from industry specialists and build professional networks at a critical time for local businesses.

The chamber is encouraging local business owners and employees, to take part in the festival, which provides a great chance for businesses and business people in our region to connect, learn, upskill, and be inspired.

The full event program will be available online after July 3 for participants to view and register for attendance.
