THE Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie is buzzing with Easter excitement, offering families and chocolate lovers an unforgettable experience.

During Easter, the chocolaterie handles a significant amount of chocolate, preparing about 100,000 individual items specifically for the season. Marketing manager Lee Wilkinson said the highlight would be the Easter egg hunts scheduled for Good Friday, Easter Saturday, and Easter Sunday.

“Three times a day, we have around about almost 200 little ones hunting through our gardens as part of our special Easter egg treasure hunts.”

Successful hunters then exchange their findings with the Easter Bunny for a bag of chocolate goodies and a photo opportunity. Participation is set at $6.50 per child under 12, with online bookings essential.

While Good Friday is nearly fully booked, there are still available slots, especially for Easter Sunday.

Addressing various dietary needs, the chocolaterie offers a selection of dairy-free and sugar-free options.

“We’re catering to all different dietary requirements, so we have lots and lots of different options,” Ms Wilkinson said.

Among the new treats this Easter are the “Polka-dot Floppy Bunnies”, covered in sprinkles and proving to be a popular choice.

“They’ve been very popular,” Ms Wilkinson said, with trio sets of bunnies also garnering significant attention.
