Scotchmans Hill showcases the best of the Geelong region

October 10, 2019 BY

Recently renovated, the converted Main House of the estate is perfect for all sorts of functions.

Established in 1982, Scotchmans Hill is located in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula.

A producer of premium cool maritime climate wines, Scotchmans Hill has been a leading local winery for more than 30 years and is rated among James Halliday’s Top 100 Australian Wineries.

Nestled among the rich volcanic soil of Mount Bellarine, the immaculately maintained vineyards offer sweeping views of Port Phillip Bay, from the You Yangs to the Melbourne City Skyline, Swan Bay and Queenscliff, to The Heads looking out to Bass Strait. Scotchmans Hill wines are a true reflection and celebration of this environment.

Recently renovated, the converted Main House of the estate is perfect for all sorts of functions from Christmas parties, corporate events, product launches and conferences to weddings, engagement celebrations and birthdays. This function space, in keeping with its original French provincial design, boasts two open fireplaces, arched ceilings and red brick floors. Both the Cellar Door and catering menus have been curated to showcase the best seasonal, local produce the Geelong region has to offer.

The Cellar Door Loft nestled above the main room of the Cellar Door offers an elevated view of the vineyards and Port Phillip Bay. With the capacity to sit 25, the Loft is the perfect space for more intimate gatherings. For a more casual gathering, the Courtyard with its sweeping views is a perfect space to soak up the atmosphere of the Cellar Door and the Winery.

The Cellar Door offers wine sales, platters, lunch and tastings 7 days a week. Private tastings and winery tours are also available.

Please note during the colder months, lunch is available Wednesday-Sunday only.

Cellar Door open 7 days at 190 Scotchmans Road, Drysdale
