Coaches to replace trains on Geelong Line

COACHES will replace all trains on the Geelong Line for part of the journey for the next fortnight due to works being conducted on the Waurn Ponds Duplication project.

From Wednesday November 8 to Sunday, November 19, coaches will replace all trains between Waurn Ponds and Geelong.

Trains will still run as normal between Geelong and Southern Cross, however the 5:56am Geelong to Southern Cross and 4:31pm Southern Cross to Geelong weekday services will be replaced by coach for the entire journey.

Coaches to Geelong will depart Waurn Ponds, Marshall and South Geelong up to 40 minutes earlier than usual train times and may not connect directly with the train.
