Margie taking a well deserved rest on the living room chair.

Margaret, Margie Moo, Margaret Scratcher, Moodini, Chairman Moo and Midge are just a few of the names Margaret goes by according to her owners. A pint sized cattle dog rescued from an alley way in Wagga Wagga, Margie is a survivor and one with a huge personality. Her owners are full of love for their ‘little terror’, one with an impressive legacy of daring escapes.

One in particular, deserves to be re-told: Margaret, a known fence jumper, was left inside a second story apartment while her owners ducked down the street. They opted to leave her in the apartment because the backyard fence would have been a walk in the park for Midge (and probably would have resulted in her taking herself for an actual walk in the park). When the owners returned they quickly realised Margie was nowhere to be seen – just in case you missed it the first time: second story apartment. Like detectives, they slowly followed one clue to another, completely terrified of what they might or might not find.

The first thing they noticed was a previously shut bedroom door that was now ominously ajar. Peering into the room, they noticed that the fly wire screen was no longer on the window. Peering out of the window in unison they could see it was now at rest on the back lawn.
Paw prints on an archway framing the first floor apartments back door only pointed one way and a BBQ below that looked like the perfect backyard dismount spot.
Some call it anxiety, others magic, but there standing in the backyard looking up at her owners, tail and tongue wagging was little Moodini.
