Collision closes Great Ocean Road near Anglesea
A police spokesperson said emergency services were called to the scene of the collision on the Great Ocean Road, about 300 metres east of the Forest Road roundabout and close to the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery, just after noon.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision but an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said no-one required treatment or transportation to hospital.
Andrew Crook from the Department of Transport said the section of the Great Ocean Road was closed for about an hour, but it reopened to traffic at some point between 2pm and 2.30pm, with a long backlog of vehicles now making their way into Anglesea.
He said any travellers heading further down the coast than Anglesea could use the inland route via Winchelsea, and the Department of Transport thanked motorists for their patience.
