Comedy carnival to return to Anglesea FNC

LAUGHTER will be guaranteed as some of Australia’s comedy stars take the stage at popular fundraising event later this month.

After a sell-out debut in 2023, Brooksy’s Comedy Carnival will make its way back to the Anglesea Football Netball Club on October 26.

The comedy night will be headlined by Australian comedy star Dave Thornton (The Project, House Husbands, Upper Middle Bogan) and Melbourne International Comedy Festival stalwart Adam Rozenbachs.

Brooksy (The Music Men/Hey Hey It’s Saturday) will be chiming in with his comedic prowess and Mike Cole, an international award-winning Elvis tribute artist, will also make an appearance.

Event lead Ayesha McWilliam said attendees were guaranteed a night of non-stop laughter.

“For the second year running, we are bringing the community together to celebrate and support the Anglesea Football Netball Club, and to have a much-needed laugh.

“It’s a great way to cap off a year of hard work and success on the field and the court, and to support and thank our players and volunteers.”

Alongside the laughs, the event will feature a monster raffle and plenty of door prizes.

Tickets are $50 and include finger food. Drinks are at bar prices.

Doors open at 6.30pm, and the show starts at 7.30pm.
