Commerce Torquay enters Flowstate
LOCAL experts on beer and solar panels headlined this month’s Commerce Torquay After 5 event at Flowstate cellar door.
The event was sponsored by Flowstate Brewers and Distillers and Arkana Energy Group.
Arkana Energy is known locally for its “positive energy,” and has completed 5,000+ solar installations, promoting long-term savings and sustainability.
On the night, Flowsate founders and brothers, Shaun and Leigh Bridges shared their diverse backgrounds in building, brewing, and horticulture.
Shaun Bridges said it was a good opportunity for businesses and members to connect.
“It was good for networking, chatting and getting to know each other over a drink,” Mr Bridges said.
“We had about 35 to 40 people turn up and it was a good relaxed casual vibe with great food.”
The Flowstate cellar door is both children and dog friendly.
The unique setting, surrounded by barrels of handcrafted products, makes it an ideal environment for an event with a difference.
The cellar door in Torquay celebrated its first birthday on November 22.
“Like all businesses in the area, in the year ahead, we are looking forward to continued growth, consistency and some sunshine too,” Mr Bridges said.
Commerce Torquay runs networking and social events throughout the year to provide an opportunity for locals to meet other local business owners and potential new clients.
Commerce Torquay is led by a volunteer Board of Directors elected annually from the membership base.
