Community Bank supports Anglesea events

January 19, 2024 BY

Community Bank Anglesea is proud to support the Anglesea Motor Yacht Clubs Roo Run and the Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club's Rock to Ramp ocean swim.

DECEMBER in Anglesea was abuzz with visitors to the region to enjoy the weather and beaches.

This is further enhanced by two established sporting events hosted by local organisations; the Anglesea Motor Yacht Clubs Roo Run and the Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club’s Rock to Ramp ocean swim.

These two events, held on December 27 and December 29, had an enormous turnout with record registration numbers for both events.

The events are only possible thanks to the local volunteers, who put time into the organisation of the day months in advance as well, along with the generous local businesses who sponsor the event to make it financially viable.

Both clubs raise money for their operating costs throughout the year, while also giving back to other local groups, making these circular economic success stories of giving back to the community, bringing visitors to regional towns and with a positive focus on inclusion, health and fitness.

The Anglesea Motor Yacht Club celebrated its 10th anniversary of the Roo Run event and proudly announced its contributions of more then $200,000 back into the community.
