Torquay Community Enterprise grants open for 2023
THIS year’s Torquay Community Enterprise grants are now open and are welcoming applications from charitable and not-for-profit organisations.
These grants provide an opportunity for local initiatives to receive funding and support in addressing community needs within the 3228 postcode.
Funded through linked accounts at the Bendigo Bank, the program’s primary objective is to allocate funds in a way that responds to the specific requirements of the community.
With a focus on enhancing social capital and supporting community welfare, the grants aim to foster public benefit and contribute to the betterment of the Torquay region.
Successful projects from previous grant cycles include the provision of equipment for the Little Athletics program, the creation of Indigenous shirts for the Torquay Hockey Club, the organization of the Arts of the Minds event, and the establishment of the popular Torquay History Trail.
To be considered for funding, projects must clearly demonstrate how they will benefit the public and contribute to the growth and development of the community.
Grants have a project cap of $2,000, which covers all expenses including GST.
