Community satisfaction survey ready to launch
SELECTED Surf Coast ratepayers will have the chance to provide feedback on council’s performance over a tele-interview as part of a survey which kicks off this week.
The annual Victorian Local Government community satisfaction survey will involve 600 telephone interviews conducted by the independent market research agency, National Field Services.
Over a three-week period, permanent and non-permanent residents may receive a call asking them about council’s performance.
The Victorian Government uses the results each year to measure the community’s perceptions of their council representatives and their performance over the past 12 months.
Surf Coast Shire Mayor Libby Stapleton is encouraging all residents to complete the survey if they get the chance.
“We really value the feedback that we receive from our community, it lets us know what’s working well and where improvement is needed,” she said.
“If you get a call on your mobile or landline, please take the survey to help us know how we’re tracking in comparison to other councils. We expect phone interviews will take around 10 minutes.”
