Victoria’s COVID response commander Jeroen Weimar has thanked the Barwon Heads Primary School community during today’s press conference for undertaking a total 754 tests yesterday.

Mr Weimar said the cluster of six COVID19 cases around Barwon Heads now included three household contacts of the first local case.

Meanwhile, Barwon Health is advising the community that a South Barwon Reserve pop-up site on the corner of Barwon Heads Road and Breakwater Road, Belmont, has paediatric trained swabbers onsite to conduct COVID19 testing for children and infants.

Barwon Health North will be open until 10pm tonight for COVID19 testing.

There are extended hours and pop-up COVID19 testing sites operating across the region today and more information is available on the Barwon Health website.
