D DAY Pest Control Geelong has been crowned the Anglesea Football Netball Club Ground Naming Rights Partner for season 2023 after being successfully drawn through a live ball raffle at the club.

The Geelong-based pest control company is a family run business based in Highton dedicated to providing fast and effective service to eradicate all pests from home and commercial businesses on the Surf Coast, Bellarine and in Geelong.

As the new naming rights partner, the group will have their branding shown on entry points to the football and netball precinct, scoreboard, both clubrooms and across both ovals.

The group will also get a suite of hospitality perks including two club memberships, two tickets to the Easter home game function and two gym memberships.

Anglesea Football Netball Club president Jamie McKenzie congratulated Matt and the D Day Pest Control team and looked forward to the 2023 partnership.

“A massive thanks to everyone who threw in their hat for our naming rights partnership program and a big congratulations to D Day,” McKenzie said.

“We’ve been doing this concept for a few years now and it’s a fantastic way to engage the community and form some terrific relationships with more businesses.

“Last year we had local business Great Ocean Properties as our naming rights partner and we look forward to the oval and netball facilities now having a D-Day touch.”

The draw strategically took place just two days before the club’s first senior games, creating a huge buzz around the club as they went into the weekend.

“We are super excited… it’s fantastic to be associated with such a progressive club like Anglesea,” D Day Pest Control owner Matt McDonald said.

“It’s a great branding opportunity for us and we are just rapt to be apart of it for season 2023.”

Anglesea FNC are always on the lookout for more opportunities to partner with local businesses.
