Davidsons to talk business at Bizz3228 briefing

June 6, 2018 BY

Davidsons has been a member of the Geelong Chamber of Commerce for 40 years – managing director Justin McGrath (right) is seen here receiving a certificate of appreciation from then-chamber president Kylie Warne.

TORQUAY Commerce and Tourism’s next Bizz3228 networking event next week will feature a presentation from accounting and business advisory firm Davidsons.

Founded in 1905 and with offices in Torquay, Geelong and Melbourne, Davidsons have specialised in assisting leading local, state and national business to grow and prosper.

Their session will bring their tips and tricks on how to start thriving and not just surviving in the business environment.

Owning and running a business can be like a rollercoaster ride. Owners can experience many highs and lows and may have mixed emotions about the past and the future. Business success requires you to focus more time “on” not “in” your business.

The session will look to identify common challenges faced by SME’s, share Davidson’s 2018 SME Research Report data, provide a snapshot of business concerns, identify “calls to action” to address these concerns and look to identify emerging trends.

Attendees will also be provided a free business risk survey that will provide a quick summary of how their business looks in terms of risk, and may provide ideas for where to focus their time on in the future.

The event will be held at the RACV Torquay Resort on Wednesday, June 13 from 6.30-8.30pm.

Entry is free for TCT members and $25 for non-members, and includes nibbles and a drink on arrival.
