Dogs, treats and brews at 4 Pines
IT’S time to take the dogs out for an afternoon of fun, all while raising money for a local Geelong organisation.
Dogs and their owners will gather at Torquay’s 4 Pines Brewery next Sunday (June 9) as their Paws and Pints event returns for 2024.
Four-legged friends will be welcomed into the venue for an afternoon of fun, all while raising money for the Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS).
A number of small businesses will be on scene, showcasing local products, with treats, toys, dog washes and more.
4 Pines manager Torrie Rose said it’s a great day as people come along with their dogs for the afternoon, enjoying the atmosphere.
“It’s mostly about supporting small businesses in the area. The whole venue will be dog friendly. They’re allowed outside and inside,” she said.
All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to GAWS, helping them continue their work within the local community.
“There’s lots of cool little bits and pieces available from local stall holders; they’re all different,” Ms Rose said.
“Come down, bring your dogs, have some fun, get involved in the raffles, make some donations, have some food.”
The Brewery has been running their Paws and Pints event, which has been a great success with crowds, since 2021.
Ms Rose said moving forward, the brewery hopes to hold the event more often.
Paws and Pints will kick off at 12pm and run until 3pm.
