THE circus is back in town these school holidays, providing an abundance of entertainment for local families.

Eroni’s Circus has pitched its tent in Moolap again close to the Bellarine Highway, and will run shows every day until October 6.

Co-owner of Eroni’s Circus, Cathy Maynard, says the troupe continues to draw inspiration from the classical circuses of yesteryear.

“Geelong is a favourite stop for the circus as they always receive a warm welcome and appreciative crowds and on their days off, the cast enjoy visiting all the region has to offer.

“This year the circus has many new performers and new acts such gorgeous showgirl dance routines, the daring Diego on his aerial cloud swing direct from Brazil, amazing hand balancing by Zoe, our clowns Joey and Shorty and their crazy clown car.

“Undoubtedly the stars of the show, though, are four adorable performing baby goats who delight audiences with their cheeky antics clever tricks.”

Eroni’s is widely known for its elite costuming, original music, immaculately presented animals, traditional clowns, and the smell of sawdust and popcorn in the air.

The circus is also introducing new artists and acts this year.

Acts include hand balancing, dance routines, illusions and the most adorable cheeky baby goats that have not performed in Geelong on previous visits, while still retaining the crowd favourites of clowns, trapeze acts, juggling and featuring palomino horses.

The circus caters to all ages, from grandparents through to young children while general admission tickets sitting at an affordable $35 for adults and $25 for children. Guests can also sit in the ringside row for an extra $5 per person.

Tickets are available to customers onsite one hour before each show.
