COVID-19 exposure sites confirmed in Anglesea
FOUR public exposure sites to the coronavirus have been confirmed in Anglesea.
Barwon Health is working closely with the Victorian Department of Health to test, trace and isolate the contacts of a newly-identified positive case.
The individual is from Melbourne, who was asymptomatic at the time, and travelled to Anglesea from May 25 – May 27. Investigations are still proceeding but the person has provided initial information about exposure sites.
If you have been to the following exposure site within the specified times, you are required to get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days:
- May 25, 6-7.30pm – Anglesea Golf Club Bistro (Tier 1)
If you have been to the following exposure sites within the specified times, you are required to get tested immediately and isolate until you receive a negative result:
- May 25, 9.20-9.35am – Anglesea Landfill and Transfer Station (Tier 2)
- May 25, 10.30-11.15am – IGA Anglesea (Tier 2)
- May 27, 10.15-11am – IGA Anglesea (Tier 2)
- May 27, 10.30-11am – Oaks Bakery Café (87 Great Ocean Road, Anglesea) (Tier 2)
Anyone who has been to an exposure site that requires you to quarantine for 14 days is a primary close contact.
Barwon Health will be establishing a pop-up testing site and will provide more details later today.
