NIGHTJAR OPENS IN GEELONG

The first Nightjar Festival arrives to Geelong kicking off from 4pm at Johnstone Park. Running until 10pm, the little sister event of the Torquay favourite, offers up a range of food and entertainment. Immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere or roving performances, buskers and culinary delights. This is a licensed event so any persons under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Running every Friday night from February 1 until February 22 at Johnstone Park, Gheringhap Street, Geelong.

SATURDAY 2/2

LET’S MAKE ART AT ART SPACE

Head along to the Surf Coast Art Space for an assortment of workshops, demonstrations and exhibition, Let’s Make Art, which kicks off February 2 and runs until February 12. Golden Plains Art Inc. presents an assortment of workshops from card making, paint pouring, bookmaking and collage, painting and drawing, sculpture, ceramics and more. LIVE MUSIC SUNDAYS AT BELLBRAE ESTATE

Head to Bellbrae Estate this Sunday and enjoy their free live music Sundays. The Suspects will take to the stage; a loose collective of musicians with an extensive repertoire of jazz, soul, gospel and country – whatever feels good, they’ll play. Enjoy fine wine and cheese, listen to tunes from 2pm until 4.30pm and soak up the relaxed atmosphere and summer sun.
