The Geelong Falcons have announced their squads for the 2026 Talent League season, with 29 clubs and a handful of AFL draft hopefuls represented across the boys and girls lists.
In the boys’ squad, 40 players were named this week alongside three futures players and 13 development players.
Noah Williams (St Joseph’s) and Jack Pickett (Torquay), who were both named in the 2026 AFL National Academy list, headline the squad.
Williams was named best afield for Team Boak in last year’s under-17 Boys Futures match and also trained with the Geelong Cats during their preseason.
The speedy midfielder looks primed to further boost his hopes of being named in the AFL Draft later this year.
Pickett is a strong key forward who also joined the Cats for parts of their preseason, having kicked 31 goals from eight Falcons matches in 2025.
Other key names include 2025 Victoria Country squad members Riley Aquilina (St Joseph’s), Jett Elek (Lara) and Fletcher Pulleine (St Joseph’s).
Father-son hopeful Archie Daffy will also suit up for the Falcons and is the son of former Richmond star Nick.
The girls’ squad consists of 31 players and an additional five development players.
Torquay’s Greea McKeegan, a 2026 AFL Academy squad member, is one of the top prospects.
After representing Victoria as a bottom-ager in 2025, McKeegan will look to continue her strong form and see her AFLW Draft dreams come true at the end of the year.
Other players include Jemma Andrews (Geelong Amateur), Ava Bilyk (St Joseph’s), Ella Condon (Torquay), Meyah Fursland (St Joseph’s) and Jayme Lasky (Lara), who were all named in the 2026 Victoria Country summer squad.
