Free business advice rolls into town

April 8, 2021 BY

Electoral Commissioner Warwick Gately is urging people who receive an infringement notice to take it seriously.

A BUSLOAD of business expertise and free advice will roll into town when the Victorian Government’s Small Business Bus visits two Surf Coast towns later this month.

Local businesspeople and those with potential startups are invited to visit the bus and speak to an expert on Wednesday, April 21, at Lorne and on Thursday, April 22, in Anglesea.

Operated by Small Business Victoria, the Small Business Bus visits Melbourne and regional Victoria as a ‘travelling office on wheels’.

Experts onboard can include representatives from government agencies, industry associations and business groups such as ASIC, the Restaurant and Catering Association and CPA Partners.

Services provided are free-of-charge and include advice, checklists, templates, grants, networking, and training programs designed to help businesses start, run and grow.

The bus will be parked in the Lorne Visitor Information Centre car park from 10am to 4pm on April 21 and in the Library Bus Bay at Anglesea Shopping Centre from 10am to 4pm on April 22.

Bookings are not required.
