Free shuttles for Good Friday Races

THE Geelong Racing Club is making it easier for coastal folk to head to the bet365 Good Friday Country Discovery Race Day with free shuttles to pick up and drop off people attending.

Buses will be available for pickup and drop off to Ocean Grove, Portarlington, Jan Juc and Torquay on April 7, giving race enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the event with complete peace of mind.

The Geelong Racing Club has expressed that bookings are essential and it will strictly be no booking, no seat.

“We’re delighted to offer this free bus shuttle service to our Greater Geelong community to ensure everyone can enjoy the best of our Good Friday race day event and get home safely,” Geelong Racing Club Commercial Manager Sarah Start said.

“With bus shuttles operating from both the Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast, it opens our race day offerings including a farmers market, Easter egg hunt and children’s rides and activities, live music and entertainment, food trucks and a special guest appearance from the Easter Bunny to the wider community.”
