LOCALS donned their best frocks and activewear at Fishermans Beach on the weekend for the inaugural Frocktober Fun Run, hosted by Torquay resident Peter Muldoon in honour of his late mother.
Joining the Torquay Park Run crew, participants walked, ran or rode the 5km loop along the foreshore, embracing the event’s light-hearted spirit while supporting a serious cause.
The community helped raise more than $4,000 for ovarian cancer research through the national Frocktober campaign.
After crossing the finish line, many stayed on for coffee and conversation at the Salty Dog Cafe, celebrating a morning of connection, colour and purpose by the sea.
