MARK the calendars for May 4, as Bellbrae Primary School’s largest annual fundraiser, Mayfair, makes its much-anticipated return.
From 10am to 3pm, the school will open its doors to the local community for a day of excitement, fun, and most importantly, a chance to support the fundraising efforts to redevelop the school’s front playground.
For many years, Mayfair has been a cornerstone event in Bellbrae Primary School’s fundraising efforts, helping to raise much-needed funds for the school’s programs and infrastructure.

This year, all proceeds will go directly toward the redevelopment of the front playground, a space that serves not only the school’s students but also the wider community.
In addition to school hours, the playground is used by those in before and after school care, holiday care, and even the participants and spectators at the weekly Surf Coast Basketball Association games held at the school’s Warri Stadium.
Thanks to last year’s Mayfair and a series of smaller fundraising events, the school is well on track to meet its goal of beginning the playground redevelopment later this year.
The projected funds raised from this year’s event, combined with those from 2024, will bring the dream of a newly redeveloped playground one step closer to reality.
Mayfair isn’t just about raising money, it’s also about coming together as a community.

The event will feature an impressive array of stalls and activities for all ages, including plants, produce, and sustainability stalls, as well as a range of roaming and live entertainment options.
Children can enjoy face painting, arts and crafts, a giant inflatable slide, and laser tag, while there will be plenty of food and drink stalls to keep everyone energised throughout the day.
The event will also include second-hand stalls, offering an opportunity for treasure hunters to find something special.
What makes Mayfair truly special is the incredible effort of the Bellbrae Primary School community.
More than 230 parent volunteers have come together to organise and run the event, and their dedication is a testament to the strong, collaborative spirit of the school.
Their hard work ensures that Mayfair will be a fun and successful day for all who attend.

As attendees enjoy the day’s festivities, they are encouraged to remember their support makes all the difference.
Not only can the community attend and take part in the various activities, they can also support the cause by bidding in the online silent auction.
Whether a Bellbrae local or visiting from afar, Mayfair is the perfect way to enjoy a day out, celebrate the Bellbrae Primary School community, and contribute to a great cause.
Bring the family, invite your friends, and help make this year’s Mayfair a resounding success.
