Galaxy head far far away

In Round five WNPL soccer matches on the weekend Galaxy United took FC Bulleen Lions at their home ground, Veneto Club, 191 Bulleen Road, Bulleen with mixed results. The Under 13s lost 1-2, the Under 15s lost 0-1, the Under 18s won 3-1 and the Senior women won 2-0. In the Senior game, Melissa Taranto scored in the 43rd minute and Laura Spiranovic in the 53rd minute.
Standout players included Spiranovic who was lethal up front, creating good goal scoring oppitunites. She is back in full fitnese after her recent return back to the game after injury.
She was threatening on numerous occasions for Galaxy. In the Under 18s, best players were Steph Cameron, Lra Heric and Amelia Spiranovic.
