Geelong Chamber announces new president and vice-president
The directors of the Geelong Chamber of Commerce have elected Mark Edmonds as president and Dr John Stekelenburg as vice-president.
Mr Edmonds has served on the board of the Geelong Chamber of Commerce for five years with the last four years as vice-president.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank immediate past president Kylie Warne for her tremendous contribution to the chamber as president since 2013 and as a board member since 2008,” Mr Edmonds said.
“Kylie presided over the chamber during a period of significant growth and change. I look forward to continuing to work with Kylie who remains on the board in her capacity as immediate past president.
“I also congratulate Dr John Stekelenburg on his appointment as vice-president and I look forward to working with him and continuing to build upon the great legacy of those who have gone before me, who have contributed to shaping the Geelong Chamber of Commerce as the voice of business in the Geelong region for over 165 years.”
Mr Edmonds is a director of MRE Consulting and serves on numerous boards including the Geelong Authority and the Geelong Cemeteries Trust.
Dr Stekelenburg is a director of Health-E-Medical and is the former Chair of Barwon Health.
