Geelong Cup races back this October

THE bet365 Geelong Cup is back bigger and better than ever in 2022.

The Geelong Racing Club is excited to be able to host the community of Geelong and surrounds once again for our biggest race day of the year and a key event on Geelong’s sporting social calendar.

The bet365 Geelong Cup is held on the local public holiday of October 19.

It is supported by 12,000 Geelong Racing Club members, sponsors, racing enthusiasts, the business community of Geelong and horse owners and trainers, who all love to catch up and have fun at the Geelong Racing Club.

This year, the club is celebrating the 20-year anniversary of Media Puzzle winning the Geelong/Melbourne Cup double: the journey that paved the way to one of Australia’s greatest sporting moments.

This solidifies the Geelong Cup as a renowned gateway to the Melbourne Cup and complements the new City of Greater Geelong’s brand, “Greater Geelong, Greater Australian Stories”, as the Media Puzzle story is one of the greatest Australian sporting stories.
